Artist Mary McCleary will be in Austin this Thursday evening for the opening of Line/Form, a group show at the dberman gallery (1701 Guadalupe). The opening is from 6-8pm. If you haven't seen Mary's work in person before, it's a must see. Her detail and craftsmanship are the finest.

I had the privilege of doing a commission for John and Rebecca (formerly Haskins) Hand for their wedding. The painting was included in their nuptial mass. They choose the Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth as the subject along with the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus on either side. The mass fell on the feast of the visitation.
