One of the things that we have started doing is called the Art Crawl. Some of us (6 or 7 people) met at a coffee house and took a tour of some gallery openings that evening. To be frank the best part was meeting the other CIVA members. I wasn't impressed with the artworks at the opening. Of course, I was only able to go to the first opening, so I can't really say about the others. Anyway, I encourage you to come to those, lots of great people connections to be made there.
