Austin CIVA is a network of Christians involved in the visual arts. The network provides an overarching web for sharing ideas and resources across the artistic Christian community in Austin. We are a local affiliate of the international organization CIVA, Christians in the Visual Arts. CIVA has been a central enabler of the art and faith movement over the past 30 years.

In keeping with CIVA's mission, Austin CIVA exists to support artists in pursuing excellence; to provide opportunities for artists to serve local arts ministries and churches; and to equip artists to engage the unique culture of Austin.

Austin CIVA aspires to knit together a community of like-minded artists. We welcome artists of every visual medium: from clay and paint to light and pixels, and everything in between. Whether you are self-taught or have an MFA, are a beginner or have gallery representation, you are an important artist in our midst. Even those who empower artists—collectors, educators, gallery owners, and pastors—are essential for our community to thrive.
